LOGOS Conference East 2009
This is an update, focusing on the aforementioned and very special event I pray God will do mighty works at. I'm really looking forward to it!
So LOGOS Conference East ~'s created by The LOGOS Ministry. I'll post the website; take it in.
I participated in the week long event during high school. The purpose is creating a non confrontational atmosphere that welcomes His empowering spirit, nudging people to hope in Jesus Christ.
During high school I was agnostic. But He was setting up the stage through LOGOS so that when the curtain rose I gladly placed hope in Jesus Christ. For example...
1) Through vespers (males and females worship separately) I experienced the intimate male friendship I lacked. Shout out to Bruce Bowen; I love you man.
2) I tapped into astounding, frightening intimacy and was really vulnerable. Hindsight? I tapped into God's love.
3) Testimonies. People are starving for hope, experiencing demonic forces, and the transperancy of some astounded me.

Remember feeling limited, remember falling... He created beauty from pain. Remember you're worthy of your father's love. Don't settle and forget you're a messenger. Boldly share His love.
Remember this crazy/ beautiful community of believers.
Pray over them right now...
Their compassion, encouragement, convictions.
If life isn't good, don't turn away. Turn away and you would have missed all these people He's placed in His story.

I learned...
My desire for control is astounding.
I've desired women after women - blind to His calling, taking every one of 'em from me. I'm not righteous before Him. I must embrace being single and love Him. PERIOD.
